Calle libre — festival for
urban aesthetics

What started as a small festival in 2014 has now become Central Europe’s largest street art festival, held annually in Vienna. Over the past years, we have hosted over 80 artists and attracted over 16,000 visitors from all backgrounds and walks of life.
Our goal was to show a different side of street art, aside from the "writings" or "bombings" often identified as vandalism by the wider public. Through our festival, we are able to inform a wider audience on the nature, proportion, and potential of street art as a form of art.
