During the festival's first edition, we worked with different cultural institutions on the banks of the Danube Canal, one of the most famous graffiti hotspot in Vienna.
Together with Flex, Das Werk, Grelle Forelle, Tel Aviv Beach and Badeschiff we curated several walls and established an artistic dialogue between Vienna’s public and both national and international artists.
We also curated an exhibition of over 50 artists which focused on Latin American Street Art and Graffiti in the auditorium of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.

Urban Myths
Academy of Fine Arts
Over 50 artworks of international artists, with a focus on Latin America, were exhibited in the assembly hall of the Academy of fine arts in Vienna.
Latin America has one of the most lively and innovative graffiti and street art scenes worldwide. The colorful, dynamic images depict a wide range of themes and also vary in content and aesthetics significantly from the style familiar in the western (American/ European) scene.
The profound socio-cultural upheavals, the tense political climate, and the spectacular variety of techniques and styles make the local “writing” culture unique in the world.
The aim of this exhibition was to transfer the world of images from the streets, buildings, and walls of Latin America into the exhibition rooms. In doing so, we wanted to show the great diversity of the current scene with its wide range of artistic approaches.
Live paintings
We wanted to strengthen the role of the surfaces along the Donaukanal as a lively
artistic and cultural space. In order to create a dialogue with the residents of Vienna, people were invited to join the painting process and get together with other
culture-lovers and artists.
