Together with the international street art project Niko Movement, we organized a bilateral exchange. This resulted in a monumental wall design on the outskirts of Tbilisi in Georgia. The artists Linda Steiner and Axel Schindler designed a house wall measuring over 50 meters. The design shows a portrait of a young woman in dark blue tones. As a visual overlay, we see abstract depictions of three birds moving vertically upwards.
The high-contrast depiction and the play of light and shadow bring a pastose impulse to the image of a suburb of the Georgian capital, which is characterized by grey apartment blocks.
