protect the protest

Amnesty International Austria |
Käthe Löffelmann

This new mural delivers an important message about human rights on the wall of Windmühlgasse 17 in Vienna's 6th district.
In collaboration with Amnesty International Austria, artist Käthe Löffelmann painted this artwork reflecting on the right to protest in the famous Stiegengasse, creating a powerful tribute to freedom and resistance.
This project emerged from a shared commitment in standing up for human rights and honouring the bravery of those who march for justice.
The mural is a reminder of the power of protest and that every voice has a right to be heard. We’re proud to celebrate this work and support Amnesty International Austria in safeguarding the right to speak out.
